Elk Haven Ranch consists of 40 acres at the base of a mountain range that is BLM federal land. There is an elk herd and of course deer on the property. This property is a haven for them, no hunting is allowed. If you are looking to throw a Frisbee with your dog in a forested and meadow setting, without tons of campers right next to you, then this is your place. Room to roam, fresh water April through September and easy access to a common electricity plug-in where you can charge your cell phones and air mattresses on the electric pole by the entry gate. If you are looking to play games, just ask us for the corn hole or horse shoes, or help yourself to the games already out and available. Let us know what your goals are and we will do our best to accommodate for your stay.

Site 1 - Lower Meadow
Relax!
Wonderful place to stay! Not a lot of other campers, clean, well-maintained - I had a wonderful week relaxing here with my dogs. Host is super friendly and attentive to campers' needs. This particular site is huge - room for the dogs to run when nobody else is there - and the electricity, water, and fire pit were super!

Site 4 - Secluded in the woods
Great clean campsite! Clean bathroom as well. Close to a lot of nice trails. Hosts were very accommodating and friendly.

Site 4 - Secluded in the woods
Rebecca’s place was great and exactly what we needed for a quick overnight stay. She was very nice and came down to great us and make sure we had everything needed.

Site 5 - W. Middle Meadow
Overall we had a great experience! The land is well kept and roomy. The amenities were nice touch but couldn’t get the propane stove to ignite. I do wish there was more privacy between the campsites. While it was advertised as secluded, campsite 5 shared the same meadow between site 2 with no physical barriers. Site 4 was on the other side of road and we can also see/ hear them. If you do have dogs, please make sure they are on leash if they easily triggered by other people/sounds. A dog from site 4 ran over to our site despite being deep in the corner.

Site 2 - E. Middle Meadow
Last minute reservation!
We had last minute change to our vacation. We notified Rebecca and had our camp site set up in about an hour! So thankful for the warm welcome, our site was perfect, listened to the birds sing, reading, resting, laughing and had some great meals by the fire. Thank you for your hospitality! We love the Hidden Meadow.

Site 1 - Lower Meadow
Rebecca was the most gracious host. She was so accommodating and most helpful with all of my questions. She had started a fire upon our arrival. She came down to greet us and to make sure we got settled in. She showed us where everything was and made sure we were comfortable. Her site is gorgeous. My husband was able to get some night photography done, as it was a dark enough area with no light pollution. I will post pictures when we are back from our trip. It is an absolute must stay. It is quiet and well maintained, we felt safe and comfortable.
